The spherical self-aligning roller bearing has two rows of symmetrical spherical rollers, the outer ring has a common spherical raceway, and the inner ring has two raceways inclined at an angle with the bearing axis, which has good automatic self-aligning performance. When the shaft is bent or the installation is not concentric, the bearing can still be used normally. The self-aligning performance varies with the bearing size series. Generally, the allowable self-aligning angle is 1 ~ 2.5 degrees
When measuring the radial clearance of the self-aligning roller bearing, erect the bearing on the platform, hold the outer ring of the bearing with one hand, and rotate the inner ring of the bearing with the other hand to make the bearing rollers return to their original position, with the inner ring and the end face of the outer ring parallel. Measure a row of clearance, and measure the clearance between the roller and raceway directly above the bearing with feeler gauge.
